Congress, Gays and Abortion Attacks Won't Work this Time -GOP

The Republicans are trying to use the low approval ratings of Democrats in Congress, gay issues and abortion for political gain again this election cycle.

I think it's important to remind folks that having a majority of ONE with at least one Independent spying on the Dem's plans (Lieberman), with a Republican president who promises to veto any bill he doesn't like - makes it extremely difficult to solve ANY problem.

Republican Party's Accomplishments for past 14 years

The REPUBLICAN congressional years 1994 - 2006 (and 2000-2008 President Bush years) will be remembered for all they've accomplished...

Seven year war in Afghanistan, 5 year war in Iraq with close to 660 billion dollars spent, part of which we now owe China to pay for them.

North Korea, Iran and now Russia, are all greater powers then before the GOP took control of government. Pakistan with nukes is about to lose their (U.S. picked) leader. China is now listed as having the most manufacturing companies in the world.

Our food and toys are either poisoned or lead filled.

Memories...as the Straight Talk Express drives away

I was reminded of a Saturday Night Live sketch that Senator John McCain did back in 2002 last night on The Verdict with Dan Abrams.  McCain tried to start a singing career.

He wasn't bad to be hones; but the one song he partially sang gave me the idea of great campaign ad.

McCain Used Arrogant Strategy Against Bush in 2000

It appears after doing a little research that Senator John McCain played the `presumptuousness or `arrogant'' campaign once before during his 2000 campaign up against then Governor George W. Bush.

I found this one paragraph in a USATODAY story that shows that Senator McCain apparently tried to use the same strategy against George W. Bush in 2000 that he is now trying to use against Senator Barack Obama, by making him `appear' presumptuousness or arrogant.

"Pew Center polls found that Bush sustained damage during the primaries, both to his image (people were more likely after the contests to consider him arrogant) and to his popularity among "McCain's prime constituencies" - Easterners, older men, white Catholics and independents."

Prompt Care Clinics Could Save Money on Health Care

I read today that Senator Ted Kennedy's office is working on Barack Obama's universal health care policy.  Well, I have an idea to suggest.

One way for Senator Barack Obama and the Democratic Party to help save American's money for their health care, is by making sure that each city has at least one prompt care clinic for patients to go to, for non-major emergency health issues like kids ear aches, rashes, chest colds, sinus infections, cuts, broken fingers or toes, etc...

Supers Should Let States Push Obama Over the Top - they should endorse Before Tues

Super delegates should weigh in BEFORE Tuesday's primary in Montana and South Dakota.

The polls are showing Barack Obama currently leading in those two states; but even if he were to tie with Hillary, he would only get around 15 delegates total.  This means he needs at least 33 super delegates to put him over the top.

Obama Should Challenge McCain to Travel Across America

John McCain sharply criticized Democratic rival Barack Obama for not having been to Iraq since 2006, and said they should visit the war zone together.

"Look at what happened in the last two years since Senator Obama visited and declared the war lost," the GOP presidential nominee-in-waiting told The Associated Press in an interview, noting that the Illinois senator's last trip to Iraq came before the military buildup that is credited with curbing violence.

"He really has no experience or knowledge or judgment about the issue of Iraq and he has wanted to surrender for a long time," the Arizona senator added. "If there was any other issue before the American people, and you hadn't had anything to do with it in a couple of years, I think the American people would judge that very harshly."

McCain's Spiritual Guide? -- Hillary's Lost Pres and VP slot now

Questions for Senator McCain and Senator Clinton.

Senator McCain, why did you call Reverend Parsley your "Spiritual Guide"?  I have you on video saying just that.
Parsley has been reported as saying America should "destroy" Islam.
